Refund Policy

This policy explains when you may withdraw a transaction or receive a refund for purchases made on the Wkil platform, in line with Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

1. Overview

Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases made on the Wkil platform. This Refund Policy therefore mirrors the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy, and sets out when you may withdraw a transaction or request a refund.

2. Global Policy

  • All transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless required by applicable law.
  • Refunds may be issued on a discretionary basis under section 3, or where you exercise a statutory withdrawal or refund right under section 4.
  • Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud or abuse of refund mechanisms.
  • If a refund is issued under this policy, your access to the relevant Product will cease.

3. Discretionary Refund Window (14 days)

We may, at our sole discretion, grant a refund if the request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submission of a request within this 14-day period does not guarantee a refund; each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we may approve a full refund, approve a partial refund, or decline the request. Requests submitted after the 14-day period are not eligible for a discretionary refund.

4. Country-Specific Statutory Rights

Where local consumer protection laws grant stronger withdrawal or cancellation rights, those rights apply and override this policy:

  • EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland / Turkey / Israel: 14-day statutory right to withdraw from the transaction date.
  • South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada: 7-day unconditional right to cancel from the transaction date.
  • Singapore: 5-day unconditional right to cancel from the transaction date.
  • Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights in your country of purchase.

5. Technical or Product Defects

If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits described, contact the Wkil support team first to attempt to resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved and there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, a refund will be issued in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Cancellation stops automatic renewal at the end of the current billing period; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Unused portions of a subscription are not prorated for refund.
  • The 14-day statutory withdrawal right does not extend to subsequent subscription renewal payments, except where local law provides otherwise.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of the transaction date at [email protected], or use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle transaction confirmation email, and provide your transaction ID. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. If a chargeback is raised, access to the relevant Product may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. We recommend saving a copy for your records.
